Activity
The Immunology clinic for children and adolescents diagnoses and treats children who have been referred to the IMC from around Poland with suspected primary and secondary immunodeficiencies and children with allergic disease. The Department acts as the reference centre for diagnosis and treatment of immunodeficiencies in children. It performs skin tests, provocation tests, desensitization (subcutaneous or sublingual immunotherapy), intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) is administered. The laboratory facilities enable the Department to offer diagnosis and monitoring of treated children.
