How can you become a patient of IMC?
The Institute of Mother and Child is a public health care institution: it offers health care for individuals insured at the National Health Fund (NFZ).
Most of our clinics require a referral issued by a primary care physician or a specialist who has signed a contract with the National Health Fund or who is employed at a medical facility which has a contract with the National Health Fund (a health insurance physician).
Patients are admitted to hospital on the basis of a referral issued by either a health insurance physician or a private physician.
No referral is required in life-threatening situations.
